FloreoKids provides afterschool care at the International School Leiden (ISL). We believe that every child deserves a safe, inspiring, and caring environment after a school day. We offer a place to relax, connect with others, and have fun.
Why choose Afterschool Care at ISL?
Our afterschool care takes place in a typical Dutch school building with a large, fenced playground and a nearby park – perfect for outdoor adventures and free play. The school also has a creative studio for arts and crafts, and we regularly use the gym for active play.
The FloreoKids spaces are warm and inviting, with natural materials and thoughtfully designed corners for rest, discovery, and fun. Safety and comfort are always our top priorities. After school, our professionally trained staff pick up the children from their classrooms and guide them to the FloreoKids room. There, they receive a healthy snack and a drink, after which they can choose to play, relax, or participate in a fun activity. Outdoor play is an important part of our day, and we go outside whenever possible – rain or shine.
At the BSO, the primary language used with te children is Dutch.

Flexible after school care
Before-school care
This location does not offer before-school care (VSO). Looking for before-school care? Please contact us at info@floreokids.nl or call 071-5817777.
Holiday care
During school holidays, we offer full-day care at our BSO Het Gebouw location. Children enjoy a variety of special activities, games, and outings: we go to parks, playgrounds, or even the cinema. All outings are included in the price, and we also provide lunch on these days. A regular staff member from ISL is present.
We are closed on national holidays.
Care during non-school days and staff training days
We also provide care on non-school days and staff training days. Care on these days can be requested via the parent portal. We are closed on national holidays
